Sera Goesch, Soprano
Education and Training
She attended music classes at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and at the Konservatorium Wien University, obtaining a Bachelor Diploma in June 2011.
Professional Career
She sang as Konstanze from Die Entführung aus dem Serail (W.A. Mozart) in Les Theatres de la Luxembourg, Het Toneelhuis Antwerpen, National Theater Mannheim.
She has performed the leading soprano part of Rodelinda and the part of Angelo in La Resurrezione (G.F. Händel) in Vienna, the Matthäus-Passion (J.S. Bach) in Bonn, the Johannes-Passion (J.S. Bach) in Rome, accompanied by Bach Collegium Stuttgart and Gaechinger Kontorei.
Engagements since 2012 include concerts at the Golden Hall / Wiener Musikverein, the Great Hall / Konzerthaus Wien and the Vienna State Opera as soloist with the Wiener Mozart Orchestra at the Vienna Imperial Palace with the Wiener Hofburgorchester.
Ms Goesch was engaged as soloist at the Vienna Volksoper for the seasons 2012 / 2013 / 2014 / 2015. Since that time she works freelance as opera singer starting in Vienna.
In January 2014 New Years Concerts took place in Toronto and Hamilton / CANADA with the Canadian Opera Orchestra.
In April and November 2014 she sang concerts in RUSSIA at Moscow International Performing Arts Center with opera arias and duets from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
In December 2014 and January 2015 she sang concerts in New York (Lincoln Center), Washington and Philadelphia / USA.
In Mai 2015 Sera Goesch performed Alban Berg: LULU - Suite with Slovanian Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson.
New Year 2016 Sera Goesch performed at Boston Symphony Hall / USA and in Vancouver with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra / KANADA
2016 she was engaged for performances and concerts in USA (Washington, New York City) KANADA (Montreal, Toronto) and Austria (Vienna, Baden).
In April 2016 she had her debut in the role of "Violetta" La Traviata (Giuseppe Verdi) at Varna State Opera / BULGARIA
Dec. 2016 Jan. 2017 Sera Goesch sang New Years Concerts in Florida (USA)
In April 2017 she performed again in RUSSIA at Moscow International Performing Arts Center with opera arias and duets from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
and at Varna State Opera / BULGARIA in the role of "Violetta" La Traviata (Giuseppe Verdi)
11th and 12th of May 2017 Sera Goesch performed in SLOVENIA (Ljubljana) the Concerto for coloratura and orchestra op. 82 from Reinhold Moritzewitsch Gliére with Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra.
December 30th 2017 she performed New Years Concerts in Edminton with Strauss Symphony and January 1st 2018 in Calgary with Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra in CANADA
In March 2018 Sera Goesch sang in concert with Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra "Salome" and "Chrysothemis" (Elektra - Richard Strauss) in Sofia BULGARIA
In June 2018 Sera Goesch undertook the title role of SALOME in a co-production of HUNGARIAN STATE OPERA and Margaret Island Open-Air Theatre in BUDAPEST SUMMER FESTIVAL
December 31st 2018 Sera Gösch successfully began to explore her potential in Wagner genre at an Opera gala in Toronto CANADA.
In February and March 2019 Sera Goesch performed again the title role of SALOME at Hessisches Staatstheater WIESBADEN.
In 2019 Sera Goesch sang Opera Concerts in Vienna, Paris, Sankt Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Lisbon and Chicago.
December 2019 Sera Goesch sang again the title role of SALOME at Luzerner Theater in SWITZERLAND and further performances in 2020
1.1.2020 she performed New Years Concert in Vancouver/ KANADA with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
Directly after the first COVID-BREAKDOWN Sera Goesch undertook the title role of SALOME with Hungarian State Opera in BUDAPEST in Sept.2020, and after the second theatre lockdown in Vienna she was back in autumn 2021 with concerts in the Golden Hall of the Wiener Musikverein and a Gala at MusicTheatre in Vienna with Lulu and Salome.
In 2022 she started in January with a New Year Concert in VANCOUVER/CANADA. Engagements include concerts at the Golden Hall / Wiener Musikverein, and the Vienna State Opera and in ATHENS / GREECE as soloist with the Wiener Mozart Orchestra. In December Sera Gösch sang at TEL AVIV ISRAELI OPERA and in BEER SHEBA / ISRAEL
2023 Sera Goesch sang New Year Concerts in MIAMI and WEST PALM BEACH in FLORIDA/USA, concerts at the Golden Hall / Wiener Musikverein, and the Vienna State Opera and in Paphos / CYPRUS as soloist with the Wiener Mozart Orchestra.
At turn of the year she will perform at the Music Center at Strathmore in WASHINGTON and in the State Theatre in New Brunswick NEW JERSEY and on
January 1st 2024 the New Year Concert at Lincoln Center in NEW YORK CITY
